This wine is from France, Burgundy region, Cote De Beaune sub-region. An angular, unformed young white, showing saturated flavors of lime, peach, apricot and stone, with a firmly structured profile. Needs time for all these elements, plus the oak, to harmonize. The finish shows fine potential. Best from 2013 through 2026. 20 cases imported. -BS. The old vines of this tiny grand cru vineyard produce a wine of rich white fruit density underscored by an airy, acidic elegance which highlights the pronounced notes of minerals, grilled nuts and spice on the layered palate; the finish is one of lasting intensity and finesse.
