    This wine is from France, Bordeaux region, Haut Medoc sub-region and Pauillac appellation. Situated on the Pauillac-Saint Julien border, immediately north of the walled vineyard of Leoville, overlooking the Gironde River. (Appellation Pauillac Controlee)

    One of Bordeauxs most concentrated rich and full-bodied wines. Latour is dark ruby in color and has a unique bouquet of fresh walnuts, leather, and black currants. . Not a blockbuster, the 1998 possesses a dark garnet/purple color in addition to a complex bouquet of underbrush, cedar, walnuts, and licorice-tinged black currants.
